Bapco organises Beach Clean-up Campaign

On Monday 20 February 2023, Bapco organised a beach clean-up campaign as part of its continued commitment to safeguarding the marine ecology, spreading awareness of the value of keeping clean beaches in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and commemorating World Wetlands Day. The campaign was run in conjunction with the Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) and the Oil & Gas Holding Company (nogaholding).

At the Ras Sanad mangrove protected area, 25 participants representing various stakeholders took part in the activity. It should be noted that Bapco is committed to support initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of the significance of preserving the maritime environment's purity and safeguarding it from pollution threats.

The participating team was successful in gathering waste weighing 3,000 kg.
