Bapco holds a 3km Running Race & Fun Walk

As part of Bapco’s celebration of Bahraini Youth Day, the Bapco Running Club in cooperation with the Corporate Services Department held a 3km running race and fun walk activity on Saturday 26 March 2022 at Awali. The event was attended by Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, Bapco’s Chief Executive Officer, members of the Executive Management, Bapco employees and their families.

On this occasion, Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding), for his continuous support to Bahraini youth and their promising capabilities.  Dr. Jawahery praised His Highness’s strategic vision in having faith and relying on our youth for the promising future, not only in the oil and gas industry, but across all sectors.

Bapco’s Chief Executive Officer conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Mr. Abdulla Jehad Al Zain, Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board Members, stressing their appreciation for the great commitment demonstrated by the company’s youth and their sincere hard work and dedication in serving the goals of the organization and achieving its vision.

تزامناً مع مناسبّة يوم الشباب البحريني التي تحتفل بها مملكة البحرين، نظمّت شركة نفط البحرين "بابكو" يوم السبت الموافق 26 مارس 2022 فعالية سباق الجري والمشي الترفيهي وذلك بمشاركة موظفي الشركة والمسؤولين وأعضاء الإدارة التنفيذيّة.

وقد أقيمت الفعاليّة في تمام الساعة الرابعة عصراً في مدينة العوالي وذلك لمسافة 3 كيلومتر، وشهدت مشاركة واسعة من موظفي الشركة وموظفاتها، حيث حرص الجميع على المشاركة في ممارسة هذه الرياضة المحببّة للجميع والتي تناسب جميع الفئات العمريّة.

وفي تصريح له بهذه المناسبّة، أعرب الدكتور عبدالرحمن جواهري عن جزيل شكره وتقديره لسمو الشيخ ناصر بن حمد آل خليفة، ممثل جلالة الملك للأعمال الإنسانية وشؤون الشباب، رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة القابضة للنفط والغاز، باعتباره داعما رئيسياً للشباب البحريني حيث لا يتوانى سموه أبداً في العمل على تشجيع الشباب ودعمهم، انطلاقا من إيمانه العميق وثقته الراسخة في الإمكانيات الكبيرة للشباب البحريني الذين أثبتوا بالفعل قدرتهم الفذّة على تحمّل المسؤوليات ليس في قطاع النفط والغاز فحسب ولكن في جميع المجالات.

كما نقل تحيات سعادة رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة السيد عبدالله جهاد الزين ومساندته غير المحدودة لشباب الشركة وبرامجهم وفعالياتهم التي من شأنها دعم مواهبهم الشخصية والمهنية، مشيراً إلى ثقة سعادته وإيمانه الكبير بأهمية دعم الشباب باعتبارهم من أهم الركائز التي تعتمد عليها الشركة في حاضرها ومستقبلها.
