ويؤكّد اعتماد الشركة على الجيل الشاب لمواصلة مسيرة تطوير الشركة وتكريس إنجازاتها
In line with the vision of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding), which signifies the importance of supporting Bahraini youth and their promising capabilities; March 25 of each year has been dedicated to celebrate “Bahraini Youth Day”.
On this occasion, Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, Chief Executive Officer of Bapco, met with the “Bapco of Tomorrow” at the Bapco Club in Awali. The event was attended by the company’s Executive Management, Presidents of the Trade and Labor Union as well as Bapco’s youth. During the event, Dr. Jawahery expressed his sincere gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the immense interest shown by His Highness towards Bahraini youth and for supporting the “Bapco of Tomorrow”. Dr. Jawahery praised His Highness’s strategic vision in having faith and relying on our youth for the promising future of the oil and gas industry.
Bapco’s Chief Executive Officer conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Mr. Abdulla Jehad Al Zain, Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Board Members, stressing their appreciation for the great commitment demonstrated by the company’s youth and their sincere hard work and dedication in serving the goals of the organization and achieving its vision.
Dr. Jawahery directed the “Bapco of Tomorrow” to abide by the company’s work ethics, policies and procedures, to show respect to all, to work as one united team and to strive to meet the challenges posed by our industry. Bapco’s youth were urged to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace and to focus on knowledge-sustainability by continuously learning and making use of the organization’s access to useful books and resources to improve and develop personality and behavioral skills. He stressed that Bapco considers the youth to be its most valuable asset and that their achievements, successes and efforts are the future of the company and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In his address, Dr. Jawahery mentioned that Bapco is currently going through a new turning point, including many adjustments in structure, strategy and vision. These changes are being made to ensure that the company maintains its strong economic impact on the national economy of our beloved Kingdom. Bapco’s youth has an integral role to play in this transformation process.
On this occasion, the company’s youth expressed their immense gratitude to Bapco’s Chief Executive Officer for his continuous support and for celebrating Bahraini Youth Day. The attendees were appreciative to Dr. Jawahery for his transparency and clarity and for empowering them to reach their full potential in serving our beloved Kingdom. They expressed that such direct meetings enhance the communication between the youth of the organization and Bapco’s management.
انطلاقاً من رؤية سمو الشيخ ناصر بن حمد آل خليفة، ممثل جلالة الملك للأعمال الإنسانية وشؤون الشباب، رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة القابضة للنفط والغاز حفظه الله ورعاه القائمة على أهمية دعم الشباب البحريني ومنحهم المزيد من الفرص التي تتناسب مع إمكانياتهم وقدراتهم الواعدة، وفي إطار مساندة جهود سموه التي أسفرت عن تخصيص يوم 25 مارس من كل عام للاحتفاء بالشباب البحريني، اجتمع الدكتور عبدالرحمن جواهري، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة نفط البحرين ( بابكو ) بالشباب البحريني العامل بالشركة وذلك احتفالاً بهذه المناسبّة السنويّة.
وشهدت الفعالية حضوراً كثيفاً من شباب الشركة إلى جانب أعضاء الإدارة التنفيذّية ونقابتا عمال الشركة والمسؤولين، حيث قدّم الدكتور جواهري في مستهل اللقاء شكره الجزيل لسمو الشيخ ناصر بن حمد آل خليفة، حفظه الله، على الاهتمام البالغ الذي يبديه سموه لدعم الشباب البحريني بصورة عامة وشباب الشركة على نحو خاص، مثنياً على رؤيته الحكيمة في الاعتماد على جيل الشباب لتنفيذ الطموحات الواعدة لقطاع النفط والغاز. كما نقل رئيس الشركة تحيات سعادة السيد عبدالله جهاد الزين وكافّة أصحاب السعادة أعضاء مجلس إدارة الشركة، مؤكداً تقديرهم للالتزام الكبير الذي يبديه شباب الشركة وعملهم الجاد والمخلص لخدمة الأهداف وتحقيق التطلعات.
وأوضح خلال الاجتماع الذي انعقد مؤخراً بمقر نادي (بابكو)بأن شركة بابكو تسعى ضمن استراتيجيها لتكريس المزيد من التمكين للشباب والمرأة، ومنحهم الفرص العادلة للاضطلاع بالمزيد من الأدوار وذلك انطلاقاً من الثقة الكبيرة بما لديهم من إمكانيات وقدرات.
ووجه الدكتور جواهري الدعوة لشباب الشركة للالتزام بسلوكيات العمل وقواعده، وإظهار الاحترام للجميع والحرص على العمل ضمن منظومة الفريق الواحد، والسعي لمواجهة التحديات التي تفرضها ظروف العمل مع الحفاظ على والجديّة واستدامة التعلّم والاطلاع على الكتب المفيدة لتحسين وتطوير الشخصية والمهارات السلوكية. وأكد بأن الشركة تعتبر الشباب ثروتها الحقيقية لأنهم من يصنعون الإنجازات ويحققون المكتسبات، موضحاً بأن الثقة كبيرة بهم والآمال معقودة عليهم وعلى جهودهم سيُبنى مستقبل الشركة.
ونوّه رئيس الشركة بالدعم الكبير الذي تقدمه (بابكو) للجوانب الإبداعية لدى الشباب مشيراً على نحوٍ خاص للمشروع الضخم الذي تنفذّه الشركة في الوقت الراهن وهو مشروع تحديث مصفاة بابكو، مؤكداً بأنه سيكون للشباب البحريني العامل بالشركة دور كبير ومهمفي تشغيل هذا المشروع الذي يعتمد على أحدث التقنيات المتاحة في هذا الشأن
وأشار إلى أن شركة بابكو تشهد في هذه المرحلة منعطفاً جديداً يتضمن إجراء العديد من التعديلات في هيكلها وفي استراتيجياتها ورؤيتها وذلك استجابة للرغبّة السامية في تحديث وتعظيم الدور المهم الذي تلعبه هذه الشركة وسعياً لاستدامة تأثيرها الاقتصادي المهم في الاقتصاد الوطني لوطننا الغالي.
من جانب آخر، أعرب عدد من شباب الشركة عن امتنانهم الكبير لرئيس الشركة لاهتمامه بالالتقاء بهم في هذه المناسبّة، معربين عن تقديرهم وتفهمهم الكبير للنقاط المهمة التي تطرق إليها الرئيس بكل وضوح وشفافية خلال الاجتماع، معربين عن أملهم بأن تتواصل مثل هذه اللقاءات المباشرة التي من شأنها أن تُعزز التواصل بينهم كشباب وبين إدارة الشركة.
