The Oil Museum recently received a delegation of the Global Architectural Sites Managers Forum, which was hosted by the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The visit took place on Wednesday 27th June 2018. During the visit the delegation was received by Bapco's Manager Exploration Mr. Yahya Al-Ansari who welcomed the visiting guests and gave a brief presentation on the rare contents and possessions of the Oil Museum which narrate the history of oil discovery in Bahrain and the region. The visitors toured inside the various sections of the museum and visited the gallery which features a number of valuable precious documents about the rich history of the Kingdom. Upon the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to Bapco for arranging the visit, hailing the significance of the oil museum and its rare possessions in depicting the ancient and modern history of Bahrain. The visitors also lauded the key role assumed by Bapco in fostering the overall development of the Kingdom. The visit is part of Bapco's ongoing efforts and initiatives aimed to enhance joint cooperation and coordination with various organizations and establishments and bolster the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) for promoting Bapco's support of the economic & social life of Bahrain.
