Under the Patronage of the Minister of Oil Bapco’s Stand Opened at City Centre Bahrain, As Part of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Week Activity

​The Oil Minister HE Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa opened Bapco's Stand at City Centre Bahrain on Friday 23rd August till Saturday 24th August 2019. The event was held as part of the activities of the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Week 2019/2020. The opening ceremony was attended by a number of Board members and officials of Bapco. The stand received large numbers of the public who visited the various sections of the stand, including sections of saving energy, road safety, tankers road safety, drowning prevention and others.

Commenting on this occasion, Bapco's Deputy Chief Executive DCE, Chairman of Environment, Health & Safety Committee EHSC, Chairman of EHS Week 2020 Organizing Committee, Mr. Ebrahim Talib said: "Bapco holds EHS Week Activity every two years with the aim of spreading safety culture and enhancing safety awareness not only in workplaces but also throughout the community". The activity is also in line with Bapco's initiatives & programs which reflect its dedicated role as a major contributor to the national growth and community in-line with directives of our beloved Wise Leadership", he further said.

 Over the years, Bapco's EHS Week has widely acquired a special dimension in the Bahraini community and has become a popular event among our employees, contractors and their families. These initiatives receive unlimited support from HE Minister of Oil Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa and HE Chairman of Bapco's Board of Directors Dr Dawood Nassif.
